2010 / 2011 Victorian Title Nomination Form  Now Available

The Lightning Sprints Victorian title is again looking to be a fantastic event at the ever exciting Avalaon Raceway.  With multiple state title holders already indicating their commitment to attend this is looking to be one of the hightlight events of this season's calendar.
Nomination forms can be found on the DOWNLOADS page on this site.

 

Please Note:  Over the coming weeks the Victorian Lightning Sprint Association website will be progressively moved across to the nation Lightning Sprints site.  The address to the national site is www.lightningsprints.net, please bookmark it for future reference.
We will put a redirect on this site once everything has been moved to help with easier navigation to the national site.

Upcoming Dates of Interest

  • January 28th/29th - Australian Lightning Sprint Title, Toowoomba
    (Resheduled to September 23rd/24th due to recent Toowoomba floods)
  • February 19th - NSW Lightning Sprint Title, Dubbo
    (To be rescheduled, will post new date as soon as information becomes available.)
  • March 12th - S.A. Lightning Sprint Title, Mt Gambier
  • March 26th - Vic. Lightning Sprint Title, Avalon
                         - Qld. Lightning Sprint Title, Maryborough
                           (Rescheduled from 4/12 rain out)

Membership / Registration Application Forms for race season 2010 / 2011 have been included on the downloads page.

If you are having any issues with completing the form or are unsure of any requirements don't hesitate to get in touch with a committe member (details on 'Contacts' page) and they will help you out.

 You can download the 2010 -2011 NASR License Application form HERE. and follow the instructions included for submission directly to NASR.  (Note: VLSA will not forward on licenses until membership fees have been received in full from applicant).

AVALON RACEWAY, HERE WE COME!!!!  Laughing  (20th March, 2010 for the Victorian State Title)

AND.....  There we were.

Was a great night of racing, although with a limited number of entries, that generated some great racing on track and also much interest in the class in the pits.  Well done to all who attended for the professionalism and comraderie shown to all throughout the event!!

Congratulations to Clayton Priest in the NSW #5 on taking out the innaugural Lightning Sprint Victorian State Title.

Also well done to Drew Keith NSW #63 and Peter Robotham Vic #6 for taking out respective 2nd & 3rd placings.
